Special Message from the Athletic Department

Contacting the Lady Lions:

The girls on the team understand that as Penn State student-athletes and Lady Lion Basketball players, they are very much in the public eye. This being said, we try very hard to let them keep their personal lives and basketball lives separate. They use things such as Facebook and Instant Messenger as part of their personal lives, and we like to respect these aspects for them.  If they don’t accept someone as a friend on social networks such as Facebook, it does not mean that they do not like them or are not appreciative of their support.  It simply is their way of trying to keep their privacy as regular Penn State students.  Plus, there are just too many Lady Lion fans out there for them to accept all of them as friends! 

If any of our fans want to send a member of the team a message, this should be directed to the Lady Lion Basketball office, 146 Bryce Jordan Center, University Park, PA 16802 and it will be passed along to the team.  Direct emails and instant messages from fans to our women’s basketball student-athletes are discouraged.  We hope you understand this and can respect the privacy of the young ladies on our team.
